Activate text messaging

After you activate text messaging, you can use Vello to send text messages to clients and receive text messages back. And Vello can use text messages to send appointment reminders and medical service reminders.

Make sure that a practice manager completed SMS registration.
To activate text messaging, do this procedure.
  1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
    Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Text Messages.

  3. Set Text Messages to Enable.

  4. Select Publish Changes.

Vello can use text messaging.
