Make changes to a survey

After a practice manager publishes a survey, they can make changes to it directly. Vello keeps each set of published changes as a new version of the survey.

To make changes to a published survey, do this procedure.
Note: A survey that is attached to a thank-you email keeps the attached version until you attach the new version.
  1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Surveys.
    The Surveys command
Note: If the left sidebar is closed, select the surveys button:

    Vello shows a Surveys screen.
  3. Select the vertical ellipsis (⋮) that is adjacent to the applicable survey, then select Edit.
Vello opens the survey in the survey designer.
  4. Make changes to the survey as necessary.
Note: If you remove a question, Vello tells you that the new version does not have the question. The information that clients entered for the question stays in your survey reports.
    The screen shows Unpublished changes.
  5. Select Publish changes.
Note: To keep the changes without publishing them, select the arrow that is adjacent to Publish changes, then select Save for later. To remove the changes, select the arrow that is adjacent to Publish changes, then select Discard changes.
Vello publishes your changes as a new version of the survey. A survey link always opens the newest version of the survey.
