To show examples of the postcard designs, you can use the Medical Service Reminders screen in Vello:

Postcards for clients with more than one pet

If a client has more than one pet, Vello sends one postcard for the client's pets that have medical services due in the same month.

If you want to use Vello Postcards, make sure that client contact records in your PIMS have correct address information. If a client address is not correct, Vello cannot send postcards to the client.

Times that Vello sends postcards

Vello automatically sends postcards 30 days before the due dates of medical services. It is not possible to schedule a different time. For example, you cannot configure Vello to send postcards 15 days before the due dates.

If a client has a scheduled appointment in the next 120 days, Vello does not send a postcard to the client.

A practice manager can stop reminders for a medical service. For example, if it is not necessary to send reminders for a heartworm test, they can stop reminders for the test. If a practice manager stopped a reminder for a medical service, Vello also automatically stops postcards for the same medical service.
