Vello Postcards billing
If you use Vello Postcards, invoices that you receive from IDEXX include a line item for the postcards. The line item shows the total cost for postcards that you sent from Vello for the previous month.
To calculate total postcards cost for the previous month, IDEXX adds the number of postcards that you sent for each week of the previous month. And to know which weeks to include in a month's billing for Vello Postcards, IDEXX uses the Fridays that occurred in the month.
As an example of postcard costs for March 2025:
- IDEXX adds the total postcards that you sent between:
- Saturday, March 1 to Friday, March 7
- Saturday, March 8 to Friday, March 14
- Saturday, March 15 to Friday, March 21
- Saturday, March 22 to Friday, March 28
- The IDEXX invoice that you receive at the start of April 2025 for your Vello subscription shows the total postcards cost as a line item.
As an example of postcard costs for April 2025:
- IDEXX adds the total postcards that you sent between:
- Saturday, March 29 to Friday, April 4
- Saturday, April 5 to Friday, April 11
- Saturday, April 12 to Friday, April 18
- Saturday, April 19 to Friday, April 25
- The IDEXX invoice that you receive at the start of May 2025 for your Vello subscription shows the total postcards cost as a line item.
