Activate medical service reminders

After you activate medical service reminders, Vello automatically sends reminders for vaccinations and other medical services.

Make sure that you know about the available settings for intervals and methods. The settings are applicable to step 4 and step 5 of this procedure. For more information, refer to Methods and intervals that Vello uses to send medical service reminders.

To activate the reminders, do this procedure.

Open Vello from your PIMS.

Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
In the left sidebar, select Medical Service Reminders.

Note: If the left sidebar is closed, select the medical service reminders button:

Vello shows a Medical service reminders screen.
Activate Send medical service reminders.
In the Postcard reminders section, make changes to the settings as necessary.
In the Text & Reminders section, make changes to the settings as necessary.
Note: If Send medical service reminders is activated, you must select a minimum of one Text or Email setting for the three reminders in the Text & email reminders section.
Select Publish Changes.

Vello can automatically send medical service reminders.
