In the Vello inbox, you can find a different mobile phone number of a client record in your PIMS. Then, you can send text messages to the applicable persons.

1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
   Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to practice.vello.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
2. In the left sidebar, select Text Messages & Requests.
   

   Note: If the left sidebar is closed, select the text messages and requests button:
   
   
   Vello shows a Text Messages & Requests screen.
3. In the Vello inbox, select the plus button.
   
4. In the Phone number box, enter the applicable mobile phone number.
   
5. Select Search.

If a client record in your PIMS has the mobile phone number, Vello shows:

• The name of the client
• The ID number of their PIMS contact record
