Vello system requirements
The Vello system requirements give information about the recommended systems for you and your clients to get the best results with Vello.
Internet connection
Make sure that you use a internet connection with good performance. IDEXX customer support recommends a minimum download speed of 3 Mbps.
Computers, devices, and web browsers
- Apple macOS, Apple iPadOS, and Apple iOS
- Android
- Microsoft Windows
- Use Vello with Chrome
- Make sure that Chrome always has all security updates
- Deactivate Chrome pop-up blockers
- Deactivate Chrome form autofill
PIMS compatibility
Vello is compatible with ezyVet, Cornerstone, and Neo.
If you use Cornerstone, make sure that it has all available updates. Vello is compatible with the newest version of Cornerstone and the version before it. For more information, refer to Cornerstone upgrade resources.

Vello client portal (for pet owners)
Clients can get access to the Vello client portal from a web browser.
For the best results with computers and tablets, make sure that clients use Chrome or Safari with all available updates.
