SMS registration: Vello shows a Registration Error box

If Vello shows a Registration Error box after you completed the form in the SMS Safe Sender Registration screen, do these troubleshooting steps.

The business information is incorrect

The business information that you entered is different to the information shown in legal tax documents for the business. For example, the physical business address that you entered is different to the business address shown in legal tax documents.

Do the SMS registration again

For United States customers, make sure that the information that you enter is the same as the information shown in:
  • IRS CP-575 EIN confirmation letter
  • IRS 147C letter (for confirmation of the business' Employer Identification Number and legal business name)

For Canada customers, make sure that the information that you enter is the same as the information shown in a Canada Revenue Agency confirmation letter for the business.

Note: If you try to do the SMS registration more than three times and the SMS registration cannot complete, contact customer support for your PIMS.

SMS registration has a general problem

The business information that you entered in the SMS Safe Sender Registration screen is correct but Vello continues to show the Registration Error box.

Contact customer support for your PIMS

Twilio is the company that does checks of your business information for SMS registration. Vello team can contact Twilio to continue troubleshooting. To continue troubleshooting, send a copy of your legal tax documents that shows your business information to your PIMS customer support. Then, customer support sends a copy of the documents to Twilio to show that the information that you entered in the SMS Safe Sender Registration screen is correct.
