Set the start date for automatic messages

At the start date, Vello starts to send automatic message to clients (for example, medical service reminders and appointment reminders).

Important: If you want to use ezyVet with Vello, you must configure ezyVet to not automatically send messages (for example, medical service reminders). The configuration is necessary before the Vello start date. If ezyVet and Vello automatically send messages, clients will receive many messages with the same information.

To set the start date, do this procedure.

Open Vello from your PIMS.

Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
Look for a box that shows The start date for your automated communications is set for.
The box shows the start date for automatic messages. Vello automatically sets the start date to two days from today.
To change the start date, select Update, then select the applicable date.

Note: You can set the start date to the next day and to a maximum of two weeks from today.
