Before you can use Vello text messaging, you must start SMS registration, then wait until it is completed.

1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
   Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
2. In the Action Required: Brand Registration box, select Register Now.
   

   Note: The Action Required: Brand Registration box does not show in:

   • The Text Messages & Requests screen
   • The Unconfirmed Appointments screen

   To get access to the box, select a different screen in Vello configuration settings.

   Vello shows an SMS Safe Sender Registration screen. The screen has a form.
   Note: If Vello does not show Register Now, SMS registration is completed and it is not necessary to do the remaining steps.
3. In the Country box, select CA.
   
4. In the Canadian Business Number (BN) box, enter the first nine digits of your business' Canadian Business Number (BN).
   
   Note: You must enter the correct Canadian Business Number (BN) for the business.
5. In the Legal Business Name box, enter your business' legal business name.
   
   Note: Make sure that you enter the same legal business name as shown in:

   • A Canada Revenue Agency confirmation letter for the business
   • Other legal tax documents for the business

   For example, if your legal business name includes punctuation marks in legal tax documents, you must include them.

6. Use the applicable boxes to enter the physical business address information that shows in legal tax documents for your business.
   
7. In the Business Structure box, select the business type that shows in legal tax documents for your business.
   
8. Use the Primary Contact boxes to enter the applicable name, email address, and phone number that shows in legal tax documents.
   Note: Make sure that the information that you enter is for the primary person that shows in legal tax documents for your business.

   
9. In the Website Url box, enter an address for your business website or a link to a social media channel.
   

   Note: Make sure that the address or link that you enter clearly shows that you operate a business (for example, a Facebook or Google Business Profile link).

   Note: Make sure that you enter the address or link correctly. Twilio automatically does a check of the address or link before approval.
10. Select Submit.
