Vello configuration for Neo branches
Before branch staff can use Vello features and functions, a practice manager must do the necessary configuration for the branch.
Vello configuration settings for a Neo branch
Use the IDEXX Vello screen in Neo to get access to Vello configuration settings for your branch. The Branch box of the IDEXX Vello screen shows the branches of your Neo site. Use the Branch box to select the branch that you want to configure.
Vello start date for a branch
Your branch must set the Vello start date that Vello starts to send messages to clients. Your branch must set the start date independently of other branches.
SMS registration for a branch
Your branch must complete SMS registration independently of other branches.
After you complete SMS registration, your branch uses a registered phone number to send and receive text messages with clients. Each branch that completes SMS registration uses a different registered phone number.
Text message configuration for a branch
Your branch must configure text messaging independently of other branches. For example, practice managers can activate text messaging for your branch. And they can deactivate text messaging for a different branch.
The Vello inbox button in Neo shows for branches that activated text messaging:
A record of a Vello text conversation syncs to the communication log of the applicable client record in Neo. All branches have access to the text conversation record of the communication log. But only the branch that sent and received the text messages with the client can get access to the text message content in the Vello inbox. To get access to the content in the Vello inbox, you must change your branch in Neo.
- In the menu bar, select the branch name
- In the Branch box of the dialog box that shows, select the applicable branch
- Select Select Location
Vello online scheduling configuration for a branch
Your branch must configure Vello online scheduling independently of other branches. For example, practice managers can activate online scheduling for your branch and they can deactivate online scheduling for a different branch.
- The applicable client can select a link in a medical service reminder to make an appointment request with your branch
- The client can make an appointment request with your branch in the Vello client portal
If your branch does not use Vello online scheduling, clients must make a phone call to your branch to schedule an appointment.
Botany branch makes a decision to use online scheduling. When Kristine receives a medical service reminder again, the reminder has a link that Kristine can select to make an appointment request with Botany branch.
Configuration of medical service reminders for a branch
Your branch must configure medical service reminders independently of other branches.
A client only receives medical service reminders for the branch that shows in the Associate ID box of their client record in Neo. The client does not receive medical service reminders for other branches.
Appointment reminder configuration for a branch
Your branch must configure appointment reminders independently of other branches. A client receives appointment reminders for each branch that activates them.
