About Vello for Neo branches

A branch of a Neo site can sign up to Vello. As a result, branch staff can use Vello features and functions.

One Neo site can have many branches that are connected to it. A branch is a practice that uses the site. For example, Callisto Vets has two branches. One branch is Botany branch and the other is North Shore branch. Each branch connects to the same Neo site.

Branches can have different physical locations (for example, two veterinary practices that are in different locations).

Branches can have the same physical location (for example, many different departments that are in one physical hospital).

Tip: To change your branch in Neo:
  1. In the menu bar, select the branch name
  2. In the Branch box of the dialog box that shows, select the applicable branch
  3. Select Select Location

Branch information in Neo client records

Each clientrecord in Neo shows branch information. Vello uses the branch information of a client record to send medical service reminders for the branch to the client.

The Associate ID box of a client record shows the client's branch. The Associate ID box shows in the Overview tab of the record.

You can use the IDEXX Vello screen in Neo to start the Vello sign up procedure for a branch. Your branch must sign up to Vello independently of other branches.
