Start SMS registration

Before you can use Vello text messaging, you must start SMS registration, then wait until it is completed.

Note: If your practice upgraded to Vello from IDEXX Pet Health Network Pro, it is possible that your SMS registration is completed. If it is completed, this procedure is not necessary. To do a check of your SMS registration, go to sms-campaign-registration-status-check.phnpro.idexx.com and enter the applicable number.

To start SMS registration, do this procedure.

Open Vello from your PIMS.

Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
In the Complete Brand Registration box, select Register Now.
Vello shows an SMS Safe Sender Registration screen. The screen has a form.
Note: If Vello does not show Register Now, SMS registration is completed and it is not necessary to do the remaining steps.
Complete the form, then select Submit.

SMS registration is started and Vello shows a Registration Pending message.

The maximum time for a cellular carrier to complete SMS registration is usually two weeks. When SMS registration is completed, Vello removes the Registration Pending message.

If SMS registration cannot complete because of a problem, Vello shows a Registration Error box that has an Update Registration button. To try to correct the problem, select Update Registration
