Provider staff that are available for appointment requests

Use the Text Messages & Requests screen to add appointment requests to your PIMS calendar. When you add a request, you can use the Provider box to select an applicable staff member for the appointment.

The Provider box

To know which staff to make available in the Provider box, Vello uses information that it syncs from your PIMS. The synced information that Vello uses to show staff in the Provider box is different for each PIMS.

This table gives each PIMS and the necessary steps to make staff available in the Vello Provider box:

  1. Go to the staff member's user account settings in ezyVet
  2. Set User Access to Can be Booked

NeoTo show a staff member in the Provider box in Vello:
  1. Go to the staff member's user account settings in Neo
  2. Select Provider

CornerstoneTo show a staff member in the Provider box in Vello:
  1. Go to the staff member's user account settings in Cornerstone
  2. Make sure that you do one of these steps:
    1. Make sure that the License # box has a license number
    2. Set Classification to a setting that applicable to a doctor

Note: Examples of a Classification setting that you can make to show a staff member in the Vello Provider box include:
  • DVM
  • Dr
  • Doctor
  • Veterinarian
