Show drop-off and pick-up times in appointment messages

Appointment messages usually show the scheduled time of an appointment. As an alternative, a practice manager can configure appointment messages to show drop-off and pickup times for an appointment type.

To make the change, do this procedure.
  1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
    Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Pre-Appointment Communications.

  3. In the Appointment Types section, select Edit for the applicable appointment type.

  4. Set appointment time to Custom.
    Note: Vello automatically sets the appointment time to As Scheduled. The As Scheduled setting uses the appointment start time from your PIMS calendar.
  5. Use the Drop-off and Pickup settings to set the times as necessary.

    Note: As an alternative, select We'll notify client when pet is ready for pickup. If you select We'll notify client when pet is ready for pickup, appointment messages do not show a pick-up time.
  6. Select Done.

Vello shows drop-off and pickup times in an appointment message for the applicable appointment type.
