The user interface of the Vello survey designer
The survey designer is the tool that you use to make surveys.
The image and table that follow:
- Show primary areas of the survey designer
- Give the function of each area
Tip: Hover over an area of the image, then select the area to read more about it.

3 | Use to add input types to the survey. Clients use an input type to enter or select survey information for a survey question. Examples of input types include:

5 | Use to add survey variables to the survey. Use survey variables to quickly and easily show pet and pet owner information in a survey (for example, pet name or pet owner address). | Vello survey designer: Survey variables |
6 | When the survey is prepared for clients to use, select Publish. After you select Publish, you can get a survey link to send to clients. Clients use the survey link to open and complete the survey. Note: After you select Publish, Vello permanently locks the survey and you cannot make changes to it. But if necessary, you can make a copy of the survey, then make changes to the copy. | Get a survey link |
