The Vello client portal

The Vello client portal is a dedicated part of Vello. The client portal makes it easy for clients to get access to pet information and to make requests for appointments and prescription refills.

Appointment information example

This table gives examples of tasks that clients can do with the client portal:

Access to the Vello client portal

Three methods are available for clients to get access to the Vello client portal:
  • An appointment reminder or a medical service reminder that Vello sends as an email or text message
  • A direct link or a QR code that you get from Vello and make available to clients
  • The Vello mobile app
For a client to sign in to the Vello client portal:
  1. The client must have a contact record in your PIMS
  2. The contact record must have an email address or a phone number
  3. The email address or phone number that a client enters for client portal sign-in is the same as the given in the contact record
Note: When Vello sends the first appointment reminder or the first medical service reminder to a client, Vello automatically makes an account in the Vello client portal. As a result, it is not necessary for the client to manually sign up for a client portal account.
