Add an appointment request to your calendar

If a practice manager activated online scheduling for Vello, clients can make appointment requests. Use Vello to add appointment requests to your PIMS calendar.

To add an appointment request, do this procedure.
  1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
    Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to practice.vello.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
  2. Select Text Messages & Requests.

  3. Find and select the applicable appointment request.

  4. Find the message for the appointment request, then select Add to Calendar.

  5. In the Appointment Type box, select the applicable appointment type.

  6. If necessary, use the Date box, the Start Time boxes, and the End Time boxes to set the appointment date and time.

  7. Use the Provider box to select the applicable staff member for the appointment.

  8. Use the Room box to select a room for the appointment.
    If the staff member and the room are available for the appointment, Vello shows the Available status:

  9. Select Add to Calendar.

Your PIMS calendar has the appointment.
