Activate prescription refill requests

After a practice manager activates prescription refill requests, clients can use the Vello client portal to make prescription refill requests.

Make sure that a practice manager activated Vello text messaging.
To activate prescription refill requests, do this procedure.
  1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
    Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Prescription Refills.

    Note: If the left sidebar is closed, select the prescription refills button:

    Vello shows a Prescription Refills screen.
  3. Select Prescription Refill Requests.

  4. Select Publish Changes.

Clients can make prescription refills requests in the client portal.
