Resize a logo image
If your logo image does not have the correct dimensions, you must use an image editing app to change them. After you change the dimensions, you can upload the image to the Logo section of the Practice Settings screen in Vello.
You must use an image editing app to change the dimensions of your logo image if:
- A side of the image is more than 6000 px
- The image is more than two times as tall as it is wide
- The image is more than five times as wide as it is tall
Note: For most logo images, it is not necessary to change the dimensions before you upload the image. For more information, refer to General steps to add your practice logo in Vello.
Note: You cannot use Vello to change the dimensions of the image.
Note: If the image is more than two times as tall as it is wide, a resize does not change the shape of the image. Use the crop function of the app to remove space from the top or the bottom of the image. Then, if a side is still more than 6000 px, do this procedure.
Note: If the image is more than five times as wide as it is tall, use the crop function of the app to remove space from the sides of the image. Then, if a side is more than 6000 px, do this procedure.
Note: This procedure uses Microsoft Windows Paint as an example image editing app. But you can use a different app if necessary. If you use a different app, the equivalent of Paint's Resize command could have a different name (for example, Scale Image or Resize Image).
