Vello did not send a thank-you email

Thank-you email is not activated for the appointment type

Until a practice manager activates thank-you email for the applicable appointment type, Vello cannot send a thank-you email.

Activate thank-you email for the appointment type

A practice manager or a person with administrator permissions must do these steps.

  1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
    Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Post-Appointment.

    Note: If the left sidebar is closed, select the post-appointment button:

    Vello shows a Post-Appointment screen. The screen includes a list of appointment types.
  3. Adjacent to the applicable appointment type, select Send.
  4. Select Publish Changes.

The applicable appointment has an incorrect appointment status in your PIMS

Until you change the appointment status for the applicable appointment in your PIMS, Vello cannot send a thank-you email.

Change the appointment status in your PIMS

Neo and Cornerstone customers: Vello sends a thank-you email one day after you set the applicable appointment to a completed status in your PIMS.
ezyVet customers: Vello sends a thank-you email one day after you set the applicable appointment to one of these appointment statuses:
  • Complete
  • Departed
