Get access to a client's prescription refill requests

Use the Text Messages & Requests screen to get access to prescription refill requests.

To get access, do this procedure.
  1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
    Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Inbox.
  3. Select Text Messages & Requests.

  4. In the message list, find and select the text message that has the applicable prescription refill request.

Vello shows information in conversation view about the prescription refill request.
  1. Dispense the medication
    Note: It is not possible to use Vello to dispense the medication.
  2. Contact the client to tell them when they can collect the medication
    Tip: Make a quick reply in Vello to easily send a text message to the client when they can collect the medication.
  3. In the Vello inbox, select Mark as Done to sync the text conversation to the client record and to the applicable patient record in your PIMS.
