Send diagnostic results to a client
After you use IDEXX VetConnect PLUS to send diagnostic results, clients can open them from an email or text message, or with the Vello client portal.
- Make sure that you have a VetConnect PLUS account
- Make sure that the PIMS contact record for the client has an email address or mobile phone number
Note: This procedure sends a diagnostic result with a full set of diagnostic data. As an alternative, you can send a diagnostic result with a format that is easier for clients to read. For more information, refer to Send diagnostic results to a client (client-friendly summary).
- Sends a text message or email message to the client that they can use to open the diagnostic result
- Makes the diagnostic result available to select and open in the client portal
- Makes a communication record in the applicable contact record in your PIMS for staff to know that Vello sent the diagnostic result (ezyVet and Cornerstone only)
