Let clients change their pet's information

To let clients change their pet's information directly in the Vello client portal, a practice manager must do the necessary configuration in Vello.

Note: Only ezyVet and Neo customers can control what clients can do in the Vello client portal. If you use Cornerstone, clients can only make prescription refill requests and change pet photos.
To do the configuration, do this procedure.
  1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Client Permissions.

    Note: If the left sidebar is closed, select the client permissions button:

    Vello shows a Manage Your Client Permissions screen.
  3. In the Update existing patient information section, select Edit.
  4. Select Direct update.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Select Publish Changes.

Clients can change their pet's information in the Vello client portal. And Vello syncs changes to the applicable patient record in your PIMS.
