This version of Vello has changes to the user interface in the Vello client portal. The changes make it easier for clients to add, change, or remove pet photos that show in their client portal account. For example, the Pet Information screen shows a paw icon that clients can select to easily make photo changes:

Pet Information screen of the Vello client portal: If a client selects Need to update pet information?, Vello shows a message that tells them to contact their practice to make changes to their pet information. This change makes it easier for clients to know that they cannot make changes to pet information in the client portal.

Practice Profile screen in Vello configuration settings: The Practice Details section has the practice information that Vello shows to clients in the Vello client portal and in automatic reminders and messages. A practice manager can select Edit to make changes to this practice information:
  • Practice name
  • Practice address
  • Practice phone number
Previously, practice managers could not make changes to the practice information directly in Vello.

Note: Practice managers cannot make changes to:
  • The practice's registered phone number
  • The practice's time zone
Note: Practice information changes that a practice manager makes in Vello do not sync to their PIMS. As a result, they must also make the applicable changes directly in their PIMS.
