Download a QR code for new client registration and first appointments
After you download the QR code, new clients can scan it to complete registration and make their first appointment in the Vello client portal.
Note: For Cornerstone customers, you can only do the steps given in this documentation after a practice manager:
To download a QR code, do this procedure.- Makes sure that your practice has Cornerstone version 9.6 or higher
- Activates Auto assign for Client ID in Cornerstone
- Activates Auto assign for Patient ID in Cornerstone

- In the left sidebar, select Practice Profile.Note: If the left sidebar is closed, select the practice profile button:Vello shows a Practice Profile screen.
- Adjacent to APPOINTMENT BOOKING, select the QR code button.Vello shows a Portal Settings dialog box.
- Select Download.png.Note: As an alternative, select Download.svg to download the QR code as SVG format. Compared to PNG format, SVG has better quality. But if your device cannot open SVG format images, use PNG format.
