Let new clients complete registration in the Vello client portal

Before a new client can complete registration directly in the Vello client portal, a practice manager must do the necessary configuration.

Note: The basic workflow for new clients is only available for ezyVet and Neo customers.
Refer to General steps to let new clients complete registration and make their first appointment and configure online booking and visit types as necessary.
To do the configuration, do this procedure.
  1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Client Permissions.

    Note: If the left sidebar is closed, select the client permissions button:

    Vello shows a Manage Your Client Permissions screen.
  3. In the Create New Clients & Pets section, select Allow Creation of New Client in Booking Flow.
  4. Select Publish Changes.

ezyVet customers: A new client can complete registration and make an appointment in the Vello client portal. And Vello syncs the information to ezyVet in:
  • A new client contact record
  • A new patient record
  • A new appointment record
Neo customers: A new client can complete registration and make an appointment in the Vello client portal. And Vello syncs the information to Neo in:
  • A new client record
  • A new patient record
  • A new appointment record
Send a link or QR code to clients to:
  1. Complete registration
  2. Make their first appointment
