Activate recommended care

After a practice manager activates recommended care, the client portal can show recommended care to clients.

Make sure that you read about the configuration settings for recommended care. The settings are applicable to step 4 of this procedure.
To activate recommended care, do this procedure.
  1. Open Vello from your PIMS.
    Note: If you use Cornerstone, sign in to mycornerstone.idexx.com to get access to Vello.
  2. Select Recommended Care.

  3. Set Recommended Care to Enabled.

    The Care Services section shows medical services synced from your PIMS.
  4. If you want to use recommended care scores, select Include a "Care Score" for each pet to encourage pet health compliance.
  5. In the Care Services section, make settings changes as necessary.

    If you want to remove a medical service from client view, deactivate the Show setting.

    If you want to add a price estimate or add educational content, select Edit for the applicable medical service, then make the necessary changes.

  6. Select Publish Changes.

Recommended care is activated.
