You can get access to your practice's registered phone number in Vello. Clients can use the registered phone number to send text messages to your practice.

When you make a client contact record in your PIMS, Vello knows which text conversation to sync to it.

Vello client portal: When a client makes an appointment request at the end of a month, the client portal correctly shows available appointment times for the next month.

Appointment requests: Vello shows a star icon adjacent to the staff member of a client's previous appointment. This change makes it easier for clients to make an appointment request with the same staff member again.

Sign in to Vello client portal: If Vello does not know the email or phone number that a client entered, Vello gives the client information about how to sign in.

Medical service reminders: Vello has configuration settings that a practice manager can use to stop medical service reminders for specified treatments or services.

Note: For Pet Health Network Pro customers, Vello automatically has the correct settings that you configured in Pet Health Network Pro.

ezyVet and Neo

Corrected a problem that caused the Vello inbox button in your PIMS to not show a preview for some received messages.

Cornerstone

Online appointment scheduling (beta feature) is available for specified customers.

The Staff box in the communications log in Cornerstone shows VELLO if:
  • Vello sends messages and reminders
  • Vello confirms an appointment
